Post Election 2004 I

I’m chomping at the bit for Peroutka numbers for Georgia. All the other states too. I see in my own county that there are just over 100 Libertarian Candidate for Pres. this year.

Peroutka was a Write-In in Georgia, so who knows when data will be available.

    Michael Peroutka (Con) 129,170
    David Cobb (Green) 104,598
Together they add up to less than .9% of the total vote. ( But my husband and I were part of that .9%. also! )

  2. Thanks Carmen, I do already have that data though [I can't think of any other way to say that, and it sounds snotty, so please know I surely don't mean that!] … I am mostly chomping to see the breakdown numbers, like county-wide in GA, for instance. To see how many fellow Peroutka voters we have in my little county, any or none, etc.

I see you got it from lewrockwell, but I can’t find it there. I found it a few other places much earlier today. I was on Lewrockwell this evening and didn’t see it, and surely just went back and must be blind, still I don’t see it there. Do you have a direct link?

Thanks! Fellow Peroutka Voters, no mandate given to Bush by us … :)

  3. OK I found it, on the BLOG …

    Here’s another site with info:

    http://www.ballot-access.org

    and another:

All have different figures for Peroutka, well maybe the others too, I just was looking at the difference btw Peroutka’s numbers on each site. :)

Blogs for Peroutka will be providing individual state numbers later today. (A Peroutka supporter could never be snotty :-) Maybe we should all get bumper stickers so we can find “our people” in our neighborhoods.

  5. Great News, thank you Carmen(Booklover)!

About the Bumper Sticker deal, you might like to know, I have been planning to, POST ELECTION, put one on one side of the bumper, with the home-printed Peroutka Over Bush sticker on the other side of the bumper.

We are not a Bumper Sticker Family either. This is a big deal. :)

  6. I’m still looking for Georgia Write-In vote tallies, Peroutka info for Georgia, ANYONE have it?

I’ve come across much info that makes the touch-screen voting in GA possibly suspect … having DIEBOLD being the provider of the machines being suspect to a nepotism-ish-ness …? As in old boss – cathy-cox-buy-from-diebold-being-the-nepotism.

Anyway, I’m sure I like voting E-way, but not likeing no paper verification … so how can I prove that my husband and I voted for Peroutka on Nov 2 in my precinct? Since no numbers for GA Write-Ins are being displayed online anywhere … sigh.

I’m hoping for Peroutka numbers in Georgia, too. Feeling pretty alone in the Peroutka corner, but I guess that’s to be expected.

While the totals for GA are not yet known, our little county cast 5 votes for Mr Peroutka.

This came direct from the editor of our local newspaper. The total write-ins for the state should be in the hands of the sec of state office this afternoon, not sure when it will be posted but I will check the site or call the editor again in a few days.
