This takes a while to download [it’ll autoplay], but it’s worth it to see a first!

Yesterday late afternoon Asa wanted to go outside and play, so I said “Yes.” A short time later he was yelling for me to “LOOK MAMA!” and since our doors and windows are open with no A/C running, I could hear him just fine … so off to the deck I went and what I found is above in a short QT movie, done via our Olympus D-520 digital camera. Not the best image, but a nice enough one to save for posterities sake.
Take the time to load the file, it’s worth it to see our dear 3 year old swinging and doing it all by himself.
Russell only learned to do this when he was 7. He just turned 8 the end of April
Victoria is 5 1/2 and learned to do this when she was still 4.
So here is Asa, official learned date: July 9, 2004, three years old, turning 4 on September 13, 2004.
One of lifes happy joyous memory making moments!
One response to “Look at Asa!”
That’s sweet Marysue. 🙂 Our eldest son just turned 4 yrs and he can really “fly” on our swings now! Learned within a couple of months before his bday too. I think having older examples and wanting to keep up with them is a motivating factor. Regardless, what a couple of little smarties we have! 😉
