She died as I held her head, outside in the grass.
I’ll miss you Cinnamon. I’m glad you lived with us and had a good life these last 5 years. You’ll be missed by all here. 🙁

So sorry Marysue. 🙁 We like cats. We have only two at this time. But, both dh and myself have been close to a good dozen at least throughout our lives. It’s a hard thing. May God give your family comfort.
Thank you Tamara. I’ve had many cats through the years too. I’ve seen many die. This is the first one to die on us since we’ve been married. We have 2 that are older, and they are the ones I will really miss so much more, and I can’t hardly imagine that right now, with how hard this has been.
It’s so tough when I remember how she’d come up and sit behind me on my chair as I typed on the computer … like now. Or was the first cat to come when “here kitty” was called. She was the first one to go when “here kitty” was called, I guess too. 🙁
There, I’ve just made myself more miserable. Sigh.
